I began painting 8 years ago when I retired due to health problems.My working background was Engineering so I started with
a good eye for perspective. I paint primarily in Oils ,however I have dabbled in Acrylics from time to time.I am totally self taught and learnt form reading,practice and input from fellow artists..
Whilst having tried most genres of art my preference is traditional realism dealing with life situations involving people and animals.
In the past I have acceppted commission work .but much prefer to do my own thing..This way I feel my art shows a great deal of
self expression and appreciation of the subject
